Entry: shallow water velocity

URI: https://registry.epos-eu.org/ncl/FAIR-Incubator/tcs-TSU/62

The phase velocity of a wave propagating over the sea whose wavelength is much larger than the water depth. The relation between velocity (c) and water depth (h) is c=sqrt(gh), where g is the acceleration due to the gravity.
