Entry: consequence model
URI: https://registry.epos-eu.org/ncl/FAIR-Incubator/tcs-TSU/17
A relationship showing the probability of exceeding a specific number of fatalities or a specific economic loss value due to a prescribed physical damage level. The term is used more specifically for representing the consequences of physical damage to building and infrastructure. Instead of a probability distribution, a consequence function can be also represented with the mean and standard deviation of the expected consequences (e.g., loss of life, economic losses) for given damage levels.
